Measuring data acquisition is a core component of TestWork automation. Particularly strong varying measurands as for instance electrical voltages require high acquisition rates. Depending on the application, different data acquisition requirements can be made in test runs. Acquiring and protocolling measuring values of all measuring points existing in the test station is ensured by TestWork Recorder.
A possible application of the TestWork Recorder is the rapid acquisition of single cell voltages in cell staples.
For cell voltage measuring (CVM), measurement modules are used enabling an acquisition rate of 1,000 Hz at 400 cells. This results in a potential maximum data rate of 400,000 TagHz.
When analyzing the test run data of cell voltage measurements, the measuring data registered by TestWork Recorder before and after the occurrence of an event are of particular importance. The event can e.g. be the falling below of a cell voltage that is signalized by an alarm. The behavior of the individual 400 cell voltages before the occurrence of the alarm can be essential for the evaluation of the entire test item.
In the TestWork Recorder Designer, the operator can create and save recorders. For this purpose, the operator can define the respective registration condition, the file format as well as the path of the registration device. As well, the operator can select the process points (tags) to be acquired, the lead-in time, the registration time and the lead-out time as well as setting the respective log intervals. For the case that the used storage medium is exhausted, rules for the reduction of the amount of data can be defined.
In the TestWork Recorder Manager, the operator can configure already created recorders for the available TrueData Controllers, i.e. the respective recorder file is uploaded to the corresponding recorder device. To the same extent, recorder files already loaded here can be deactivated.
Furthermore, the operator can start and stop measuring data acquisitions via Recorder Manager.
