Export Control

With increasing international trade, the importance of export control as a globally applied legal instrument continues to grow. Export control focuses on the cross-border exchange of goods and services relevant to international security and foreign policy.

HORIBA FuelCon supports compliance with applicable export control regulations and supplements them with internal company policies designed to prevent misuse of goods. To ensure thorough review and evaluation of materials and component deliveries, all our suppliers are required to provide the following information for each order item proactively and without request:

  • Is an export license required under German law? If yes, please specify the export list number under which the product is classified.

  • Is an export license required under EU law, or is the product listed in the annexes of the EU Dual-Use Regulation? If yes, please indicate the relevant position number.

  • Is a re-export license required under U.S. law (Export Administration Regulations)? If yes, please provide the ECCN (Export Control Commodity Number) under the CCL (Commerce Control List) for the product.

  • Please provide the statistical commodity code (HS Code) applicable to the material.

  • Please indicate the country of origin for the material.

This information is mandatory to enable us to use your components in our products, as only complete data allows a comprehensive evaluation. Without full disclosure, we will be forced to source the required parts elsewhere.

End-Use Statements for U.S. Deliveries

If you, as our supplier, require an end-use statement in order to supply us, please indicate this requirement during the procurement process. We will gladly confirm the necessary information, preferably in electronic form.

If you have any questions regarding the implementation of export control, feel free to contact our procurement team via email—please include the relevant purchase order number.
