HORIBA FuelCon honored as "Company of the year"

On November 9, 2024, the annual "Wirtschaftsball Börde" was celebrated in the Mittellandhalle in Barleben. The event, organized by the municipality of Barleben and the “Saxony-Anhalt Network”, brought together prominent guests from politics, business and local authorities. The ball had a very special significance for HORIBA FuelCon this year.

The highlight of the evening was the presentation of the “Company of the Year” award. This award, which is presented annually by a jury to a company for outstanding achievements and significant contributions to the regional economy, went to HORIBA FuelCon this year.

Company of the Year

HORIBA FuelCon Managing Director Dr. Ingo Benecke accepted the award in person from Barleben Mayor Frank Nase and District Administrator Martin Stichnoth. In addition to the technological progress at the HORIBA eHUB at the Magdeburg-Barleben site, the decisive factors for the choice were above all the efforts of our company to strengthen the local economy, create qualified jobs and retain young talent in the region. Sven Schulze, Minister for Economic Affairs, Tourism, Agriculture and Forestry of Saxony-Anhalt, was also a guest at the "Wirtschaftsball Börde 2024" and supported the jury's decision.
