Review Girls'Day 2024

The introduction of the nationwide Girls'Day at HORIBA FuelCon was a success. On April 25, seven girls between the ages of 11 and 15 had the opportunity to get a taste of working life and get to know our company. The motto of the day was "Individual project work on test benches" - with a company presentation, interesting facts about our training professions and an extensive practical part. We do not know whether we will see any of the girls again in an apprenticeship with us, but that is not the main focus. We value the Future Day as a perfect opportunity to help shape career guidance for interested young people.

Girls'Day serves to provide career guidance for young women and brings them together with companies and organizations that train women in professions in which they are outnumbered. In our training occupations "Electronics technician for automation technology" and "Industrial mechanic for mechanical and plant engineering", the national average proportion of women has so far been below 40%.
